A type of Kilim which is rare and highly valuable. Perfectly suitable for modern decorations. Soumak is embroidered style of rugs, threads are rather left uncut/stranded at the back. Most parts of Ferhan rugs take geometric and bird motifs, which were made in southern Afghanistan with Biljik wool from Belgium.
