Bakhtiar

Since the early 19th century the Bakhtiari tribe was weaving rugs and exporting them around the world. Bakhtiar rugs are associated from the nomadic people living in the mountains of Iran and they are one of the most ancient and well-known Persian rugs. Very famous for Garden designing and compartment design, these carpets are multi colored without a medallion.  Mughal Bakhtiar rugs are available for specific orders woven by Pakistani master-weavers in Lahore.
