Hereke carpets which are only produced in Hereke, are produced using, the silk, a combination of wool and cotton and sometimes gold or silver threads, as materials. Hereke carpets are very large, palace-sized carpets with the colour combinations and the harmonious patterns which have made them highly collectible.
